On Election Day, students in Prof. Adornato’s Mobile and Social Media Journalism course and Prof. Guest’s Live Event Production course will be provide live streaming coverage on Ithaca Week’s social media channels. On Election Day, students in Prof. Adornato’s Mobile and Social Media Journalism course and Prof. Guest’s Live Event Production course will be provide live streaming coverage on Ithaca Week’s social media channels.
In total, there are 31 students producing the election coverage for Ithaca Week. Prof. Adornato’s students have been reporting about local issues and races while Prof. Guest’s students are coordinating the technical side of the live streams.
The live cut-ins will begin at 8:30 a.m. and can be viewed on Ithaca Week’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts.
