Celebrate Veterans Day 2020 with the IC Community

First, a very Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans who are part of our immediate and extended IC community!

Veterans make up a valued part of Ithaca College. We are honored to have so many veteran staff and faculty among us as well as our veteran students. This page recognizes veterans who are members of our staff / faculty and Longview communities. 

After seventeen years of an in-person Veterans Day celebration at Ithaca College, this year, we are hosting a virtual celebration of Veterans Day to express our gratitude, appreciation, and thanks to all veterans who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States.

This year we are celebrating Veterans Day in three ways: 

1. IC’s Thank You Wall – In honor of Veterans Day 2020, please consider leaving a note of appreciation through our Virtual Wall. Here, IC community members can post personalized notes and Veterans can view IC’s expressions of gratitude. 
2. Virtual Veterans Day Celebration – In lieu of being in person, we are hosting a virtual event with music, a history of Veterans Day, and ideas on how to say “Thank You” to Veterans in your life. Register here. 
3. Attendance at National, Virtual Events – Across the country, we are honoring our veterans through virtual parades, film festivals, special veteran guest speakers, museum tours, and more! Please use our Veterans Day Celebration website to find an event and show up for our Veterans!  Here, IC community members can post personalized notes and Veterans can view IC’s expressions of gratitude.
