The IC Food Insecurity Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the Free Food Box Distribution on Monday, December 14th, 2020. Volunteers will be asked to sign up for a shift from 9:00 AM -12:30 PM to assist in packing food boxes for the event. Food boxes will be distributed in an outdoor location (O Lot) with no physical contact between patrons and/or volunteers. The entire event has been designed for effective physical and social distancing measures. Volunteer work involves physical labor including packing food into bags, carrying food and lifting boxes. Boxes weigh about 25-30 pounds.

Please note: volunteers must have had a negative COVID-19 test within 7 days prior to the event. Volunteers will also be asked to complete an IC Daily Health Screening prior to arrival on campus on the day of the event. Current IC faculty, staff, affiliates, and students are welcome to volunteer (we cannot accept IC retirees at this time).  Additional volunteering criteria can be found in the volunteer sign up link.
