GERO 19501: Age Matters: Discovering the Possibilities beyond Midlife
Tuesday/Thursday 10:50am-12:05pm, Spring 2021
Explores the intersections of age and identity in a variety of contexts, including the treatment of elders in modern culture. Examines the demographic and cultural forces shaping the period between retirement and disability. We examine our own beliefs and values as they relate to age and engage in virtual service learning with community elders. Hybrid delivery. 3 credits.
