This is a hands-on course emphasizing the fundamental elements of video production, editing and dissemination. We will gain experience scripting, storyboarding, shooting, and editing; and investigate ways in which the medium can intersect with both the commercial and artistic markets. A series of video projects will be made, culminating with an open screening featuring work developed in the course. Open to anyone regardless of one’s prior experience working in either dance or film. A few spaces in the class are still available.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Daniel Gwirtzman at dgwirtzman@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
