IC Voices: Activism is Out Legacy with Rita Bunatal | 5:30 PM EST. In 2015, Rita Bunatal, owner of Malaika Apparel, was a leading student activist on IC's campus as a part of the PoC at IC movement. Pointed to as a pivotal moment in our campus' modern history for a call to equity and justice, PoC at IC was a spark for change. Join us as we add her powerful voice to our archives!

2021 MLK Celebration Concert | 7:30PM EST Join us at 7:30pm as the School of Music honors the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a virtual concert! Under the direction of Baruch Whitehead, this concert features a range of beautiful pieces that honor the tradition of strength and activism in the Black community, including traditional gospel hymns and spirituals, pieces by contemporary Black composer Omar Thomas, a special virtual performance of Glory from the movie Selma, and more!
MLK 1st year Scholar Instachats
Join our first-year MLK Scholars in brief group conversations to discuss the process and impact of completing their final two assignments for their US Civil Rights seminar. The dialogue will focus on why the created their specific resources, what they aim to accomplish, and what a lifelong commitment to social justice means.
