Based on the Return to Campus plan, please note that virtual programming and meetings are strongly encouraged during the Spring 2021 semester. This promotes health and safety in our IC community, is more inclusive for students, staff, and faculty who will be remote this semester, and recognizes that space on campus is very limited.
If you must have an in-person event this spring, please note that there is a new procedure for all faculty, staff, and students to follow. An Events Approval Committee has been formed to oversee the safe implementation of all in-person programming/meetings for Spring 2021.
Instead of reserving spaces directly through 25Live, ALL in-person event requests must be submitted via this Spring 2021 Event Request form. Detailed guidelines for health and safety protocols can be found on the Spring 2021 Events website.
Each request will be reviewed by the Event Approval Committee, the scheduling coordinator for the specific space being requested, and the Health and Safety Advisory Committee. After the final review, the Events Approval Committee will then contact the event sponsor with details regarding approvals.
We look forward to a robust schedule of online events during the spring semester, and we will work to ensure that events that need to occur in-person will be able to meet the appropriate health and safety guidelines.
