The semester is really up-and-running IC! I know it’s hard to believe, but we are already closing in on the one-month mark since we began virtual instruction. As we continue to forge ahead this spring, check out the latest installment of COVID-19 Updates.
Keep Up the Good Work!
Just in case you haven’t peeked at the recent COVID-19 Dashboard numbers, we are really doing great Bombers! Currently, we have only FIVE active cases of COVID-19 in our campus community and our testing positivity rate sat at its lowest point of the semester this past week at a miniscule .04%. Great job IC, you truly have been #ICinThisTogether in helping keep our campus community healthy!
Let’s not let this great start to the spring go to waste. Stay on top of your testing and those good COVID-19 public health practices!
New Vaccine Eligibility
New York State announced on Monday, February 15, that it would be expanding its list of individuals eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Under the new guidelines, adults of any age with any of these conditions now qualify to receive the vaccine.
Availability of the vaccine in Tompkins County remains limited. Check out our vaccine webpage for more information. We encourage all eligible members of the community to receive the vaccine when eligible and will continue to work to identify eligible individuals within our campus community.
Beat the COVID Blues with Fitness
Maintaining your physical fitness is a great way to alleviate some of the stress associated with COVID. Our Fitness Center, Robert R. Colbert Sr. Wellness Clinic, and the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium are open to faculty and staff (those not in remote status) and students in Tompkins County. However, you MUST make a prior reservation in order to use these facilities.
Students must have a “green” IC Health Badge and employees must be in compliance with COVID-19 surveillance testing and Daily Health Screening protocols to use these facilities.
