Staff members of the Office of International Programs and Extended Studies are working remotely this semester. Although you can't stop by our office on campus, study abroad advisers are available now and throughout the semester to help you plan for a future study abroad experience. Make an appointment now or stop by our virtual drop-in office hours to start planning for your international adventure in 2021-22 or beyond!

OPTION 1: SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Click here to schedule an appointment. Once you've selected a time and date, you'll be sent a Zoom link by a study abroad adviser. If you aren't able to find a time that works well for you, just send an email to  studyabroad@ithaca.edu with your availability for the upcoming week and you'll hear back from us with some possible meeting times. We look forward to working with you in planning your study abroad experience.

NOTE: If you are scheduling a study abroad advising meeting but have not yet discussed study abroad with an academic adviser, we encourage you to speak with an academic advisor BEFORE your study abroad appointment.

OPTION 2: DROP-IN OFFICE HOURS
Connect to the drop-in office hours anytime within the one-hour window listed, and a study abroad adviser will be waiting to speak with you.  If there is already student with the adviser, you'll be placed in the Zoom waiting room, and will be admitted to the meeting once the adviser is free. Be sure to bring specific questions, as this is not a presentation but a time for you to get your questions answered.

WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?
We are expect to have a wide range of study abroad opportunities available again beginning in Fall 2021. There will also be a limited selection of study abroad programs available for summer 2021. That said, we recognize that changes may need to occur depending upon what happens with COVID-19 in the coming months. We do recommend that, together with planning for a summer or semester abroad, you consider a back-up plan as well, so that you will be sure to have an interesting and rewarding experience in place regardless of what transpires with COVID-19.
