A river of all ages will be a new body of work in media such as photography, drawing, and animation reflecting on research on Six Mile Creek and the Brooktondale community.

The project will be in a virtual exhibition with www.franjacentroamerica.com and if possible, hold a local in person exhibition with the collective and outreach activities with migrant communities.

A river of all ages is a new body of work that through photography, drawing, and animation reflects on connections through water by my neighbor the Six Mile Creek and how it ties to other rives I have lived by in México and Costa Rica. Creating a series of works that will explore memories around rivers, the communities that are near them, and also a way to better know my neighbor the river and the Brooktondale community.

The resulting work and installation will be part of a virtual exhibition on Franja Centroamérica, an artist platform made by five artists from Central America as response to the pandemic - to support each other in our creative practices creating a platform for our work and studios in the virtual space and locally in Brooktondale, NY.
