Students in the psychology department and professor Judith Pena-Shaff are conducting a study of caregivers and their children (ages 9 to 18th) experience with the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly during the past months (one year after the start of the pandemic).  Here is the link. You can also use the QR code in the picture:   https://ithaca.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_elDRIGmSgHpsazk

Purpose of the study: We are interested in exploring the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on caregivers and their children in the United States, particularly after a year since the start of the pandemic. We are also interested in learning about the coping strategies families are using to maintain a sense of normalcy during this time.

The survey asks you questions about your feelings and responses to COVID-19 challenges; your mood and emotional state; your perceptions about how your children are doing; and activities you and your children do to cope with changes in your everyday routines. The survey takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete, depending on how many children you report on.

We would also appreciate your consent to allow your children (those between the ages of 9 and 18) to participate in a short survey asking about their experiences during these past two months related to changes in their lives caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Their survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

This is the link to the youth survey. Please copy and share with your children https://ithaca.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2mCbNERwHCvGDfE.

In appreciation for your participation, we will be happy to include you in a raffle for a $75 Visa gift card. At the end of the survey, you will find a link redirecting you to a page to be included in the raffle. This page is separate from the main survey you will complete. We will not be able to link your email address to your survey response.

Thank you in advance and please consider sharing the link with other families.
