The IC men's and women's track & field teams competed at the NCAA Division III Championships last week, May 27-29, in Greensboro, N.C. The women's team sent seven student-athletes, while the men sent two.

At the conclusion of the championship, the women finished fourth in the country and the men tied for 30th.

On the women's side, Parley Hannan won two national titles in the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs. Meghan Matheny was the national champion in the pole vault as well.

The tandem ups Ithaca's all-time individual national championships to 49. Matheny is the 31st student-athlete to secure a national title and Hannan finishes her career at IC with three championships.
