Online Special: C'mon, Make a Film -- Fast!

Five cinema and photography majors took home the Audience Choice Award at the Lake Placid Film Forum's Sleepless in Lake Placid 24-hour film contest this summer.

Greg Dunbar '10, Casey Dwyer '10, Andrew Kalicki '10, Ayshea Khan '11, and Michael Sutter '11 were required to conceptualize, cast, write, shoot, edit, score, and distribute a 10-minute film in 24 hours. That's not all: the film had to include a dog, a marathon, acid rain, and a book by an author attending the film forum! Oh, and there's more: a break-up had to be involved.

Their comedic short film, Thoreauly Lost, features a struggling writer in search of inspiration. Visit  www.lakeplacidfilmforum.com to view it.
