David Fleisher '91 on CNBC
David Fleisher '91, who majored in finance in the IC School of Business, is executive vice president and chief operating officer at Firstrust Financial Resources, LLC, in Philadelphia, and an acknowledged expert in financial matters. He was recently interviewed on CNBC's program Squawk on the Street about the stock markets, discussing what he calls "credit, crude, and confidence."
With the recent volatility in the markets -- including the mortgage-lending crises -- Fleisher and his partners at Firstrust have been much in demand as commentators and analysts. They have been featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, and U.S. News & World Report, as well as on the Bloomberg News and Fox Business News television programs.
"Our ability to advance the interests of our clients and firm, despite this challenging environment," says Fleisher, "is a testament to the loyalty of our clients, advisers, and friends, in addition to the dedication and hard work of our financial professionals and staff."
Fleisher is a very active alumnus. He is past president of the Ithaca College Alumni Association and now sits on the IC Board of Trustees. Fleisher and his wife, Jennifer Cooley Fleisher, live in southern New Jersey with their children, Matthew, Anna, and Robert.
