Physical Plant Dedication

President Peggy R. Williams joined Rick Couture, director of physical plant (left), and Carl Sgrecci, vice president for finance and administration, on Wednesday, November 10, to officially dedicate the newly renovated building that houses the Office of Physical Plant. In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, President Williams presented Couture with a plaque honoring the occasion.

"This has been the first major renovation of this building since it was built some 30 years ago, and the work was done entirely by the physical plant staff members," Couture said. "That includes the planning, design, and construction phases. This ceremony is a testament to the quality of work done by the talented people who work in every department of the physical plant office."

The refurbishing took about a year and a half to complete and includes renovations to the reception area, conference room, and offices. In addition, a new dispatch area was built and new windows installed throughout the building.
