A tradition will continue at Ithaca College on Sunday, September 11, in commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. In a symbolic display representative of the World Trade Center towers, only the two center Dillingham Center fountains will be turned on for the day. President George W. Bush has proclaimed September 11 as Patriot Day and has asked Americans to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities to honor the victims of the attacks.
