On Thursday, October 27th STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) will
be screening Hotel Rwanda at 7 pm in the Textor 101.
On Thursday, October 27th STAND (Students Taking Action Now: Darfur) will be screening Hotel Rwanda at 7 pm in the Textor 101. We will provide free pizza and pop for those attending. After the movie, a short clip will be shown about the genocide currently occuring in Darfur, Sudan and a few Ithaca College professors will facilitate a discussion about what's going on and what can be done.
If you haven't seen this Academy Award nominated film, we hope to see you next Thursday evening. Bring your friends, roommates, and classmates to enjoy a free movie, free food, and some great discussion. It will be evocative, emotional, powerful, and informational. You can make a difference.
