By now, you have likely heard the tragic news out of Blacksburg, Virginia, that a number of students at Virginia Tech have been killed or wounded in a campus shooting.
We know that we speak for the entire Ithaca College community in extending our most profound sympathies to the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Virginia Tech. To the families and other loved ones of those killed and injured, we offer our heartfelt condolences.
We recognize that tragedies such as this can bring out feelings of anxiety and apprehension, and we encourage members of our campus community to reach out to friends, colleagues, advisers, and others who can offer support. Counseling center staff can be reached during regular business hours at 274-3136. After regular business hours, a counselor is available for crises or emergencies.
