The situation is unsettling and leaves many questions... I think that is was nice
for the college to extend its condolences. I too extend my condolences to all of
those affected.

My heart aches for the students, families, faculty and staff members of Virginia Tech. Words fail to describe my sadness and grief. I will be keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers.

Citizens, college students and humans--together we mourn the loss of our
peers at Virginia Tech. The events that took place on their campus this
morning were hateful and devastating to all. Let us first join together in
prayer, for the victims, their friends and family.

In this day of the Risen Lord we can find hope and light in the dark of
today. We may not know or ever understand the cause of these events, but
in Christ we may find peace and comfort in knowing that our brothers and
sisters are now at peace. We pray for the members of the Virginia Tech
campus-students, faculty, professors and friends. Lord, hold us and our
peers in your warm and everlasting embrace. Helping us to find strength
and courage in light of this unbelievable tragedy.
~Amen

Anyone affected seeking spiritual support or guidance should reach out to any of our communities on campus or find the chaplains in Muller Chapel.
