Why is this new version such a big deal? Office 2008 is the upgrade for Office 2004, the Macintosh version of the Microsoft Office productivity software collection. Microsoft has incorporated a new look for Office 2008 as well as some new features, such as the Elements Gallery, which makes it easier to apply commonly-used design tools to your projects. Other new features include SmartArt Graphics and a nifty Toolbox.
