The South Central Regional Library Council selected Ben for the Resource Sharing Distinguished Service Award. In doing so, SCRLC cited Ben's record of active participation in regional resource sharing activities, including the sharing of best practices and incorporation of new technologies. Ben's efforts have led to increased efficiencies in the College's interlibrary loan operations and the establishment of resource sharing relationships with new partner libraries. Ben received his award from Mary-Carol Lindbloom, Executive Director of SCRLC, at the Council's 2009 annual meeting.
