"Building a Multicultural Curriculum and Inclusive Pedagogy for the 21st Century" takes place on Friday, March 12, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Taughannock Room. It features Carlos Cortes, Professor Emeritus of History, University of California Riverside. Lunch is available at noon.
This special event launches the Ithaca Faculty Commons and includes its two major features. The emphasis on resource-sharing means that unlike a more typical workshop, this event builds from faculty conversations to presentations in the May Institute on May 25. The emphasis on a blended online and face to face environment means that the workshop leader is in California and faculty can participate both in the room and from other locations.
More information on the workshop, and a form for registration, is in the Center Activities/ Spring 2010 page.
