This special event launches the Ithaca Faculty Commons and includes its two major features. The emphasis on resource-sharing means that unlike a more typical workshop, this event builds from faculty conversations to presentations in the May Institute on May 25. The emphasis on a blended online and face to face environment means that the workshop leader is in California and faculty can participate both in the room and from other locations. "Building a Multicultural Curriculum and Inclusive Pedagogy for the 21st Century" takes place on Friday, March 12, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Taughannock Room. It features Carlos Cortes, Professor Emeritus of History, University of California Riverside. Lunch is available at noon.
