Professor of Music Kim Dunnick has been invited to judge the brass competition at the Tchaikovsky (National) Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine. In addition, he will present a masterclass for trumpet students and perform a solo with the orchestra. The event is in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the inclusion of brass instruments into the conservatory in 1935.
Dunnick was a judge and featured performer at the Kiev International Trumpet Competition in 1998 and is one of two former US judges invited back for this celebration.
