I am very pleased to announce that I have appointed Dr. Marisa Kelly as our new provost and vice president for academic affairs. She has a distinguished record of achievement as an academic administrator at the University of St. Thomas and University of the Pacific, and I look forward to working with her and with the rest of the college’s senior leadership team in advancing our strategic plan.
While Dr. Kelly will not be joining us officially until July 1, she plans to visit the college several times during the spring semester, and I know that you will join me in welcoming her to the campus. In the meantime, Dean Greg Woodward will continue his work with our IC20/20 initiative while serving as interim provost for the remainder of the academic year.
