While Dr. Kelly will not be joining us officially until July 1, she plans to visit the college several times during the spring semester, and I know that you will join me in welcoming her to the campus. In the meantime, Dean Greg Woodward will continue his work with our IC20/20 initiative while serving as interim provost for the remainder of the academic year. I am very pleased to announce that I have appointed Dr. Marisa Kelly as our new provost and vice president for academic affairs. She has a distinguished record of achievement as an academic administrator at the University of St. Thomas and University of the Pacific, and I look forward to working with her and with the rest of the college’s senior leadership team in advancing our strategic plan.
