Highly competitive, the Killam Fellowship Program provides American students an opportunity to undertake an educational field trip by studying at a Canadian university. Awarded one of just forty fellowships available in the next year, Briana will spend spring semester 2012 studying at the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Canada, where she will study French and Francophone literature and culture as well as taking courses in Environmental Studies.
