Briana Bender ('13) named 2011 - 2012 Killam FellowContributed by Mark Andrew Hall on 04/03/11 French and Environmental Studies double major Briana Bender has been selected as a Killam Fellow for the 2011 - 2012 academic year. Highly competitive, the Killam Fellowship Program provides American students an opportunity to undertake an educational field trip by studying at a Canadian university. Awarded one of just forty fellowships available in the next year, Briana will spend spring semester 2012 studying at the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Canada, where she will study French and Francophone literature and culture as well as taking courses in Environmental Studies.
