This survey will provide us with the information we need to improve wireless performance to meet current and future needs.
The consultants will be going room to room, building by building, analyzing current access point (AP) placement, room design, set-up and capacity, building materials and other components that affect wireless performance. Once the survey is complete, we will know how many access points are needed, where the additional gear should be placed and in what density. Since the consultants will be surveying the academic and administrative buildings during normal business hours; please provide them access as needed. They will not be going through the residential halls but may need access to classrooms during class.
