This webinar will help you understand how signals from body language, tone of voice, etc. can have significant positive or negative impacts on how your messages are perceived. Also, learn tips for monitoring and aligning your micro-messages to convey what you wish to communicate to others.

Presented by Dr. Robbin Chapman, Associate Provost and Academic Director of Diversity and Inclusion, and Lecturer in the Education Department at Wellesley College.   
Participation Outcomes:
• To understand how signals from body language, tone of voice, etc. can have significant positive or negative impacts on how your messages are perceived.
• Tips for monitoring and aligning your micro-messages to convey what you wish to communicate to others.
• Strategies for using micro-messages to support your institution’s equity and inclusion goals. 

About the Presenter:
Dr. Robbin Chapman is the Associate Provost and Academic Director of Diversity and Inclusion, and Lecturer in the Education Department at Wellesley College. Dr. Robbin Chapman provides strategic leadership and vision for the College’s diversity and inclusion efforts, and academic and faculty excellence initiatives. Dr. Chapman earned her S.M. degree at MIT’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
