Diversity and Inclusion Webinar Series “Diversity 3.0: A Focus on Transformation” on January 28th: Seats are Still Available!

01/26/16

Contributed by Michelle Rios-Dominguez

Transformational Diversity takes our D&I work and our organization as a whole to the next level. Diversity 1.0 focused on representation. Diversity 2.0 focused on Inclusion to ensure respect in the workplace. Today we think that’s not enough and our focus is on Transformational Diversity—a shift to a new level that actually requires us to operate differently. In this stage, we are able to enter the workplace with new mindsets & skillsets, allowing us to transform the situations we’re in and the organizations we lead because we’re actually able to see and respond to greater complexity.

Transformational Diversity happens when we operate at the highest level of effectiveness when it comes to D&I—a level very few of us are at today. The good news is we know how to get to that higher level both individually and organizationally. Participants in this webinar will learn the framework of Transformational Diversity and how to achieve it in organizations.

Learning Outcomes:
·        Understand the concept of Transformational Diversity
·        Understand the required mindsets and skillsets necessary to create transformation
·        Realize the importance and impact of Transformational Diversity both for individuals and organizations
