Muayad & Rami Alayan's 2015 black comedy about romance and desperation under the Israeli occupation. It follows the breathless career of a young, penniless Palestinian car thief who hopes that he can cash in a stolen Israeli VW and make his way out of the country, taking along his girlfriend and their daughter. To his dismay, he discovers a bound-and-gagged, kidnapped Israeli soldier folded into the car's trunk and things go downhill from there. Stunningly filmed in sharply focused black and white
