 Jewish Studies is offering several ICC courses in Fall 2017.

Hebrew Scriptures (JWST/RLST 10300; MWF 10:00) - Learn about how and why the Bible was written, and why it's still important to people in the world today.
ICC: Themes: Identities; Mind, Body Spirit; Perspective: Humanities 

Jews in the Modern World (JWST 20200; TR 2:35-3:50). Learn about the varieties of modern Jewish cultures and the dramatic changes Jews have lived through since 1492 (when Jews were expelled from Spain) to the present day. 
ICC: Themes: Identities; Power and Justice; Perspective: Humanities

Expressions of Jewish Art & Architecture in Muslim Lands  (JWST/RLST 22500; TR 4:00-5:15) Survey of a wide range of art and architecture made by and for Jews from the ancient world to the present-day Middle East, offering an historical introduction to the vibrant cultural worlds of Jewish communities in Muslim-majority lands.
