The Ithaca College Library and Teaching and Learning with Technology (IT) have partnered to implement Ex Libris Leganto, a new reading list/e-reserves tool that integrates with the Sakai learning environment. We are seeking faculty early adopters who would like to be part of an early release of Leganto during the Fall 2018 semester. Faculty who currently use e-reserves are highly encouraged to try using Leganto, as well as any faculty member who would like to utilize reading lists that give the instructor and student options to enhance teaching and learning.
Ex Libris Leganto is a tool that enables the instructor to easily create, maintain, evaluate, and share course resource lists. With Leganto, you can assemble materials of all types—physical books, online or digitized book chapters, scholarly articles, videos, newspaper articles, websites, and any other type of material—to create a structured, comprehensive resource list. You can build a resource list by yourself or collaborate with others, such as colleagues or librarians. Students can access all course materials in one place and from any device.
