In an attempt with staying current with the changing classroom technology, AV Services is ending support for old analog transparency overhead projectors in support of the new digital document cameras. Document cameras provide the ability to place any paper, book, or object under the camera, located on the instructor podium, which projects the image to the LCD projector or display.
Document cameras are part of our standard classroom AV technology upgrades, which we currently have installed in 70 classrooms. Please let us know if you currently use transparency overhead projectors, as we will connect you with a support representative to assist you with transitioning your current material from analog to digital and provide training on the usage of the new document cameras. AV Services will also work with you to assure there is a document camera located in the appropriate classrooms.
