Dr. Galván conducted a chorus of 120 singers who had been selected through audition to participate in the event. Two of the teachers who prepared students for the event had been singers under Dr. Galvan’s direction in the Texas All State Treble Chorus and the American Choral Directors Association’s National Youth Honor Choir.
