Dr. Janet Galván, Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music, conducted the Texas Region #5 Honor Choir in Allen, Texas on November 2ndContributed by Sara Jacobs on 11/08/19
Two of the teachers who prepared students for the event had been singers under Dr. Galvan’s direction in the Texas All State Treble Chorus and the American Choral Directors Association’s National Youth Honor Choir.

Dr. Galván conducted a chorus of 120 singers who had been selected through audition to participate in the event. She led the group of Singers in rehearsals from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm and conducted a late afternoon concert.
