Trustee and Chair of the Board
Elected to the Board of Trustees in 2009, Tom Grape has served as chairman since 2012. He earned his B.A. in planned studies from Ithaca College and is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Benchmark Senior Living, the largest provider of senior housing in the Northeast. Benchmark has been recognized as one of the top 100 places to work by the Boston Globe for eight straight years, and Grape has been honored as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for real estate/hospitality in New England and with the inaugural International Corporate Social Responsibility Award from the YPO.
