Presidential Search

Professor and chair of the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, Thomas Swensen serves as the secretary to Faculty Council. He has been a member of the college’s Institutional Effectiveness and Budget Committee as well as search committees for the Provost and Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. A member of the American College of Sports Medicine, he focuses his research on factors that affect human performance, including weight training, diet, muscle soreness and recovery, and endurance.
