Vice President for Human and Organizational Development, Innovation and Planning

On March 20, 2019, Hayley Harris was announced as the new vice president for human and organizational development and planning. Harris most recently served as human resources director of the Cornell University's Research Division, which comprises over 25 research centers and administrative units. Since joining Cornell in 2008, she has served in a variety of strategic HR roles—partnering with deans, vice presidents, and vice provosts to advance the university’s mission. She previously served for eight years in HR positions at Yale University.

In a message to the campus community, President Shirley M. Collado wrote: "Hayley brings to Ithaca College an intimate knowledge of academic culture, a deep understanding of the importance and practice of shared governance, and tremendous experience in facing today’s challenges in higher ed. She is the right leader at the right time for our college’s human and organizational development, especially since her work orchestrating and implementing complex initiatives will serve us well as we advance our strategic plan."
