The Center for Faculty Excellence hosts events for new and returning faculty as we begin the new academic year. Resources for new faculty members are posted on our website.

New or noteworthy this month are the following:

Part-time Faculty Welcome and Orientation on Tuesday August 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the second floor lobby of the Center for Health Sciences. This new event features a light supper followed by a brief orientation to campus systems and services. The All-College Mentoring Program launches its second year with a workshop on Saturday, August 28, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in Clark Lounge.

The workshop Engaging Faculty in the IC Culture features remarks by recipients of Faculty Excellence Awards and testimonials from participants in last year's program. Faculty of all ages and length of service found it extremely rewarding.
