Noted environmental author and social critic Bill McKibben will speak on "Building the Climate Movement" on Wednesday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m. This event will take place in David Call Auditorium in Kennedy Hall at Cornell University.

This event is free and open the public. The Ithaca College campus community is encouraged to attend this special event that is being co-sponsored by the Ithaca College Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Because parking at Cornell is limited, you are encouraged to consider using TCAT bus service between campuses.

Ithaca College will make available two free bus passes (enabling one round trip to Cornell) to the first 25 members of the IC community who present their ID card at the bus stop outside the Roy H. Park School starting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

One suggested bus route to get from the IC campus to Kennedy Hall at Cornell in time for this event is:
5:47 p.m.: Board the Route 11 Weekdays Inbound to center of Ithaca at Roy Park School
(Pay $1.50 - be sure to ask the driver for a transfer slip.)
5:57 p.m.: Get off at Green Street @ The Commons.
5:59 p.m.: Board the Route 21 Weekdays Inbound to center of Ithaca at Green @ Commons
(Pay $0.00 - be sure to hand the driver your transfer slip.)
6:19 p.m.: Get off at Kennedy Hall

To return to campus after McKibben's presentation, here's one suggested route:
9:22 p.m.: Board the Route 92: Monday through Wednesday Loop Route at Kennedy Hall
Pay $1.50 - be sure to ask the driver for a transfer slip.
9:33 p.m.: Get off at Schwartz Performing Arts.
9:50 p.m.: Board the Route 12 Weekdays Outbound from center of Ithaca at Schwartz Performing Arts
Pay $0.00 - be sure to hand the driver your transfer slip.
10:09 p.m.: Get off at Roy Park School
