Dear campus community – Prior to the start of the semester, a number of IC members felt it was important to bring the campus together to discuss the violence that occurred throughout the summer. The first event was a great success and those in attendance overwhelmingly indicated that they would like these conversations to continue. Our next Campus Conversation will take place on November 2 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm in Emerson Suites. Our first event was held on August 31 and was a great success. At that conversation, those in attendance generated a list of items that they would like to continue to discuss. Our next Campus Conversation will take place on Wednesday, November 2 from 5:30 – 7pm in Emerson Suites. At this gathering, we will continue our open discussions and will share the “Things We Should Discuss” list as well. This gathering is meant to provide members of the campus community (students, faculty, staff and administrators) with an opportunity to come together to share food and conversation about world, national and local events.
