Southern Graphics Council International is the largest print organization in North America.   Its annual conference includes artists from all 50 states as well as international attendees from Canada, South and Central America, and Europe.  The 41st SGIC conference (March 20- 24, 2013), Print: MKE  hosted by the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts provided forums for significant dialogue and exchange that included presentations of academic papers, workshops, print process demonstrations, exhibitions and lectures on a multitude of contemporary and historical print practice.

Susan Weisend participated in the portfolio exhibition, “The Hidden Room in the House, Printmakers and the Art of Sublimation”.

Taylor recently read from her mixed-genre book, Apart, at several locations in Colorado including Colorado-Staute University-Pueblo and Denver at Counterpath Books.
 

Associate Professor Taylor presented a paper titled "Confessions of a Solitary Walker."

The paper was presented at a Seminar on "The Poetics of Digression" as part of the American Comparative Literature Conference in Toronto, Canada, April 5-7.
