Nathan Hess, piano faculty member in the School of Music, served on the faculty at the Rocky Ridge Music Center (RRMC) near Estes Park, Colorado, where he taught piano, coached chamber music, and performed in the Music in the Mountains faculty concert series.

RRMC offers a variety of summer music programs for students 10 years of age through adult. Professor Hess taught at the Junior Session, held July 31-August 12.

Intrigued by the idea of spending a Spring or Fall semester in New York City with fellow IC undergraduate students for an outstanding academic and personal experience? 

 HSHP and H&S students are invited to attend an information session on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Hill Center 57, 12:10-1:00pm.

Singing in the shower too lonely?  Vocalizing at your desk not thrilling your co-workers? Meet fellow Ithaca employees who share your joy of singing and lend your talents to IC voICes, the College's faculty/staff choir!  Now in our 11th year, we welcome singers of all abilities.  No auditions are necessary...simply bring your enthusiasm and vocal chords to our weekly practices each Monday from 4:00 - 5:00 pm in Room 1207, ground floor of the Whalen Center. Fall practices begin October 1st.

5 to 8 students will be selected to meet weekly during the fall semester in a group setting to learn about and go through the decision-making process for choosing an academic major. Discussions and activities will be facilitated by a professional career counselor and will include things like: interests, skills, values, internships, resume writing, and more. There will be some expectations/activities outside of the meeting times, such as creating a resume, researching occupations, and completing career-related inventories.
