Due to unforeseen events the artist talk at the Handwerker Gallery scheduled for 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, has been postponed.  The gallery staff hope to reschedule this event for Tuesday, April 3 or Wednesday, April 4 and will notify the Ithaca College community via intercom when confirmed.

Colleges Against Cancer is inviting anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer to attend Ithaca College's Relay For Life.  Relay is part of the American Cancer Society and is the biggest fundraiser in the world.  Relay is for everyone--faculty, staff, students, families, community members, cancer survivors, caregivers, people who have been lucky enough to never have been affected by cancer--ANYONE.

The guest presenter for this Faculty Show and Share session is Ari Kissiloff, Strategic Communication.

A Smart Board is an interactive whiteboard that displays like a projector on a screen but uses touch detection for user input.  Ari will demonstrate the tools and ways he has used it this semester.  The audience will have a chance to play and brainstorm ways this technology can be used to create more interactivity in the classroom

The Palestinian Environmental Film Festival presents Jordan Valley Blues on Wednesday, 4pm, in Ithaca Falls Meeting Room at Ithaca CollegeThis LifeSource film documents the lives and losses of Palestinian farmers in the Jordan Valley, where they are forced to abandon their land due to water shortages and abuses by the Israeli military. Following the film there will be a short presentation by Rebecca Cutter, M.A. Sustainable Development, and a Q&A with Hamza Zubeidat and Christopher Whitman, two workers from the MA’AN Development Center, which focuses on empowerment of women and youth in the Jordan Valley.
