Park School of Communications has begun its Internal Transfer Application process for Spring 2009. The process was recently revised, and new application forms are available outside the Dean's Office on the third floor of Park Hall. Changes to the application process include a deadline of March 2, 2009 and a required minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 to apply for all majors in the Park School. The Photograph Commands Indifference features photographs & text by Nicholas Muellner (with design by Gerry Beegan). This book is a personal, historical, and philosophical inquiry into the relationship between photographs and monuments. The History of Photography in Pen & Ink features illustrations by Charles Woodard. In this set of forty-three pen & ink line drawings, Woodard levels the history of photography through his own unique brand of stylistic primitivism.
Don Beachler, associate professor of politics, was interviewed this afternoon by News10Now TV reporter Tamara Lindstrom for a follow-up story about the implications of the shoe-throwing incident that took place at last night’s Ithaca Common Council meeting. A local resident threw his shoes at Mayor Carolyn Peterson to protest Council's position against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The story will start running on Channel 10 after 7 p.m. tonight.
