2015 W2s available online

Current employees can now view and print their 2015 W-2 online in Parnassus. To access your W-2 online, log into Parnassus, click on IC Employee Self Service, and then click on Employee W2. If you need assistance with your Parnassus login information, please email the Payroll Office at payroll@ithaca.edu. Paper W-2s will be mailed to your home address.

Taxpayers will be asked on their tax return if they and their dependents had minimum essential health insurance coverage for each month of 2015. For those who had employer-sponsored health insurance, such as that provided by Ithaca College, it will only be necessary to check the appropriate box on your tax return to affirm coverage. No further action is necessary. If you are prompted for a 1095, it is important to know that the government delayed the deadline to March 31, 2016 for employers to generate the form 1095-C.

In an effort to reduce student wait times and to improve scheduling for all patients needing same day care, Hammond Health Center now requires ALL visits to be by appointment only. WE WILL NO LONGER SEE PATIENTS ON A WALK-IN BASIS. Instead, we will be offering same day appointments for students who are acutely ill. Please call ahead to schedule all appointments at 607-274-3177.

The online submission process for faculty sponsors to submit student presentations for the 19th Annual James J. Whalen Symposium will close on Monday, March 4, 2016. 

Students:  Interested in participating? 
Contact your faculty collaborator to discuss the proposal submission process. 

Faculty:  Submissions will be accepted for presentations, performances, and displays.  The online submission form and information can be found on the Whalen Symposium website at

The Symposium will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2016.  It is the premier academic event at Ithaca College and features student presentations on research and creative works that are developed in collaboration with faculty.

We have encounter PDF documents that print incorrectly with fonts and sizes that are substituted or resized from the original document.  This occurs when a PDF is attached after logging in to WebCRD.  In these cases, the fonts are not imbedded in the PDF document that has been attached but the preview will look fine.  The best way to ensure that your documents print correctly and that your department will not be charged for the corrected reprint is to only submit using the SurePDF driver.

Sign up on HOMER for a 1 credit FLEFF mini course. Courses start March 21st (Block II). Students in the mini courses attend films and participate in events offered by the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival. More info about the Festival is available at https://www.ithaca.edu/fleff/ The festival runs from March 28-April 3, 2016. All courses are described at GCOM 11500-11900 except for one course at HLTH 39902.
