Park Productions, the professional production unit in the Park School, has been honored with the esteemed Silver Plaque from the jury of the Chicago International Television Awards (Hugos) for the documentary,
Breaking the Cycle: The Willard Drug Treatment Campus.
Parolees at the Willard drug treatment campus, subject of a one-hour award-winning documentary produced by Park Productions. Willard, located in nearby Seneca County, is an innovative residential treatment program for selected offenders with alcohol or drug problems.

The Hugos are among the most diverse and prestigious media communications events in the world. The Park Productions entry was singled out in the "Documentary: Social/Political" category competition, measured against hundreds of entrants from around the world. In addition, the documentary was broadcast on PBS throughout Central New York in April 2003.
Park Productions provides students with professional experience in a variety of film, video, and multimedia productions. The organization fills an important role within the College and in the general Ithaca community by creating high quality film, video, and multimedia programs at a reasonable cost.
