No Turn on Red Amended

Contributed by Crystal Young on 06/03/03

The "No Turn on Red" regulation at the College's Route 96B entrance has been amended. Motorists who are leaving the College and preparing to turn right are now permitted to turn right on red except when pedestrians are in the crosswalk. Signs have been installed at that intersection to alert motorists of this change.

Motorists are reminded that New York State law requires all motorists to yield to pedestrians who are in a designated crosswalk.
